On Tuesday(26 Feb 19), Optical Supply Singapore (OSS) hosted a launch event at The International Vision Academy (TIVA) for its new product range, Kodak EvoBlue.

Interesting Point to Note:

Majority of the Blue Cut lenses available in the market uses a coating that reflects the blue light in addition to the usual Anti-reflective Coat. Kodak EvoBlue however, has a lens substrate that absorbs the blue light from entering the eyes. In addition to a lens substrate that absorb the blue light, Kodak EvoBlue has another photochromic layer on the surface of the lens before the AR coating.

Kodak Light Detective is a device designed to measure the UV and HEV blue light cut-off ratio and transmission.
